Sherry A. Weddell is co-founder and Executive Director of the Catherine of Siena Institute (www.siena.org). She is the author of the Called & Gifted charism discernment process for Catholics and several books including the global best-seller, Forming Intentional Disciples: the Path to Knowing and Following Jesus on evangelization and making disciples in the 21st century. Sherry and her many collaborators have worked with 225,000 Catholic clergy, religious, leaders, and parishioners in over 1,000 parishes in 230 dioceses around the world.
Katherine Coolidge joined the Institute staff in 2014 after two decades of parish ministry in various capacties. She is a contributor to the book Becoming a Parish of Intentional Disciples edited by Sherry Weddell and co-authored with Bobby Vidal Ananias Training: Travelling with Others the Discipleship Path. Her responsibilities include working with Institute presenters and collaborators to help parish and diocesan leaders develop and implement strategies and pathways for evangelization and disciple-making. She possesses a Masters of Arts in Pastoral Studies from St. Joseph College of Maine. On her off time, she enjoys quilting, gardening and hanging out with her husband, Michael, on their 2.5 acres of heaven in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Fr. Michael Sweeney, O.P., is a native of Vancouver, BC and was ordained in 1979. Fr. Michael co-founded the Institute in 1997 with Sherry Weddell and served as Co-Director for 7 years during which he offered workshops on discernment and the theology and formation of the laity to ordained and lay Catholics throughout Canada, the U.S and in Rome. He has also served as pastor, university chaplain, and university/seminary instructor in philosophy and the theology of the laity. From 2004 - 2015, Fr. Michael served as President of the Dominican School of Philosophy & Theology in Berkley, CA. He returned to work with the Institute as Co-Director from July 2015 until July 2018.
